Introduction...
We are extremely fortunate. Not only are we able to travel to wonderful and exciting places, we get to enjoy the sponsorship of some of the best companies and establishments throughout our journey.
In each state that we travel, there are generous businesses and agencies that support our adventures. That means we oftentimes have the benefit of things like free meals, free hotel and motel stays, and free admission to a variety of activities and events.
Why would private companies and establishments do that? For one thing, they truly appreciate what we're doing... bringing to light many historical and important events that might otherwise go unnoticed. Secondly, they just happen to have some of the greatest people associated with them!
Listed here and on the adjoining pages are all of the agencies and establishments that have been so accommodating and good to us throughout our recent travels.

We have developed a rating system for our hotel stays. We look for places where we can have a “family friendly” experience. Our criteria are:

Microwave
Refrigerator
Pool- preferably indoor
Exercise room
Internet access
Laundry facilities
Arcade room
Cable w/Nickelodeon, Disney, Speed Channel, Food Network, and the Cartoon Network
Free Shuttle Service to attractions
VHS/DVD/Game systems
Each hotel can be rated on a 4 point travelers scale. If you see one traveler, this hotel has 5 or less of these amenities. If you see two travelers, this hotel has at least 7 these amenities. If you see 3 travelers, this hotel has at least 9 of these amenities. If you see 4 travelers, this hotel has 11 of these amenities and you will have a wonderful family friendly stay. Please remember that these are our reviews and as always, I suggest calling the hotel before you visit.
